Your Gift House Shipping and Returns

To protect our customers from identity theft, we only use paypal. Each customer has the protection that paypal gives to protect their identity and to know that their money is safe and we use paypal to update your order information. Its easy, safe and SECURE. To stay updated on your shipping status, always refer to your paypal account, we update it with the progress and to the shipping tracking number (if applicable).

Why Paypal?
U.S. customers with U.S. "confirmed" delivery addresses (same as billing address) may put as much as they want on their credit card, debit card, or check, through PayPal at no charge to customer. Any bank officer will confirm that credit card fraud is at an all time high and PayPal offers one higher level of protection. Customers do NOT need to have an account with PayPal to send/transfer funds.

International Shipping: Sorry we do not offer.

Shipping time, depending on demand, can be up to 14 business days for order to be actually shipped out with shipper. If for a slight chance it is longer we will notify customer immediately. No refunds if order is in process, the only refunds we issue are out of stock items ordered. Back ordered items will not be refunded unless customer sends a request for a refund PRIOR to processing. Once item leaves and in possession with shipper, we do not guarantee actual arrival date, refer to tracking number that is given once item is shipped.

Electronic, furniture items (all items that are not hand-crafted or plans): No merchandise may be returned under any circumstances unless said merchandise is defective. All non-product related fees (i.e. shipping and handling, etc) are not refundable. Please note that payment refunds occur only when similar merchandise is not available for replacement.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. We reserve the right to change status of any and all orders depending on our distributors. We reserve the right to hold an order until contact with a customer. We reserve the right to hold or process the order up to 30 days.

Handcrafted fine print: All items located in our web site are all handmade and one of kind, with an exception for 'The Other Room'. Our inventory is not mass produced, when an item is sold we do not guarantee that it will be re-listed. This means that the artist may or may not remake those items that have been sold and if they do design another item that it may not reflect the exact same item as previously. Shipping 5-10 business days (depending on Artist's location). Which means once payment has been posted to our vendors account, item will then be shipped. We reserve the right to choose UPS or USPS for shipping (depending on the Artist's location), all set shipping charges cover Artist's handling, packaging and insurance of the purchased item(s) and the delivery to ship location. Insurance will be included for the protection of the item that our customer has purchased (if sent UPS). "Free U.S.A. Shipping" does not cover insurance and will be shipped USPS, no exceptions, absolutely no international orders for Free U.S.A. Shipping. International orders, there will be an additional fee that will be determined after we have received the order and determined the additional cost for shipping. Which at that time we will send a payment request that must be paid within 72 hours after we have sent the request. If customer fails to pay, there will be a refund sent. International orders will not meet the normal USA shipping expectations. Once the additional fee has been received, the item purchased will be sent 7-10 business days. International orders may include Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, Mexico, Puerto Rico and all other countries.

Email Shipping (Building Plans) will be emailed to a valid email within 48 hours. If the email address is not valid, we are not responsible and refund will not be issued. It is the buyers responsibility to purchase item with a working valid email address.

Order on or before 12/01/09 and receive your order before Christmas. All items listed are in stock (unless noted), they are removed in a timely manner to assure that there isn't back orders. If item is out of stock we will notify you within 48 hours. After 12/01/09, Since we only charge a set fee for shipping and if you still want it there by Christmas. Faster service must be requested at an additional charge. We do not guarantee Christmas arrival if purchased after 12/01/2010.

Shipping cost too high (if not free shipping)? The shipping cost covers handling, packaging and the artist/supplier cost to deliver package to mail server.

Shipping charges are non-refundable. 20% Restocking Fee. Packaging slip should have return information, if not, contact through your confirmation email for more instructions.

We, Your Gift House, does not carry the items for sale. We are a broker for numerous Artists and Sellers. We do not take responsibility for the items for sale on our site. The information supplied is supplied to us from the Artists and Sellers, the Artists and Sellers take full responsibility for the correct description and pictures supplied.

We can process returns (above exceptions) and refunds (above exceptions) only for items purchased from

We do not accept returns of the following:

Any items returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged or is missing parts.
Any item that is apparel that can be worn.
Any item that is a custom order or has been requested (which includes, but not limited to); size, color, fabric, style, special character or item.
Any emailed item or linked item.

Please do not send us items that do not meet the conditions listed above, as we do not issue refunds for non-qualifying items and cannot return the items to you. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the return item. You can expect a refund in the form of a check or paypal from us, within 7 to 14 business days of receiving your return. Shipping charges are non-refundable, no exceptions. 20% Restocking fee.

All deposits taken for custom or requested orders are NON-refundable. No exceptions.
