Disguising a Bad Haircut Hairstylist Victor Valverde shows how to use accessories and styling products to disguise bad haircuts. If the Cut is Too Short
Purchase hair extensions from a beauty
supply store. Human hair can be washed and styled, while synthetic hair cannot
be restyled. Hot-glue clips to the end of the extension (figure A). Make a part just below the temple area and
clip the upper hair out of the way (figure B). Clip the extension under the part and cover with the top hair for instant length. A weave can do the same thing, but can cost more than $500. Choppy Layers Use a flat iron to blend the layers. Work
in one-inch sections and pull hair through the flat iron (figure C). If Bangs are Too Short Comb bangs forward. Take a chunk of hair
from the side and cut it al little longer than the bangs to minimize the look of
shortness around the eyes (figure D). Cut on a downward angle. This trick adds
layers to transition from the short bangs to the longer part of the hair.
Prior to purchasing, read the payment and shipping FAQ sheet.
